November Stitch Fix Review

November 20, 2015 by Talia Bunting 12 Comments

How’s your holiday shopping coming along? This year I decided I would try and get all of my shopping done before Thanksgiving. I’m about half way there, so either this next week will be incredibly busy or I’ll just fail. Probably I’ll fail.

I’ll be honest, since having children I have one pace: slow. It doesn’t matter what I do, I can never go faster than slow, which leaves little room for shopping. This is why I am so fond of Stitch Fix. If you’re looking for a gift for a busy woman in your life, this is it. Give her a gift card to update her wardrobe right from her living room (it’s also so much fun!).

My July 2015 Stitch Fix Review

July 8, 2015 by Talia Bunting 1 Comment

I’m in that awkward stage of post-pregnancy where you’re tired of maternity clothes, they’re a little big, but you’re certainly not back in to your normal clothes. They say 9 months up, 9 months down – I say 9 months up, 20 years down. Or at least that’s how long I’m pretty sure it will take me. Seriously, my body seems to think that when I’m nursing it needs to go into starvation mode and hang on to every little bit of fat because WHAT IF WE DON’T GET ENOUGH CALORIES TO FEED THE BABY. Trust me body, that is not going to be your problem. The hollandaise sauce I’ve recently discovered will see to that.

My First Maternity Stitch Fix Review

April 3, 2015 by Talia Bunting 10 Comments

Loveappella Maternity Plumeria Mixed Material Maternity Top back

A year and two months ago my husband and I packed all our stuff into storage and moved to Paris for two months. Then we came back and moved to California for 6 months. Now we’re back in North Georgia and trying to move to Altanta (STILL HOUSE HUNTING), our stuff still in storage. Needless to say, the clothes we packed for two months in Paris have long since gotten old. Gaining 40 lbs of baby (yes, I’m having a 40 lb. baby, I don’t want to hear it) has not helped in the clothing situation, so when Stitch Fix announced they were starting to sell maternity clothes (and petite clothes, for all you teeny-weenies out there!) as well, I was all over it. I got my first one in the mail last weekend and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys!

May Stitch Fix Review

May 7, 2014 by Talia Bunting 9 Comments

Stitch Fix

I’ve always been pretty low maintenance when it comes to my appearance – pony tail, a little mascara, jeans and a t-shirt and I’m good to go. When Joe and I got married he looked in my closet one day and said, “Wow, you own a lot of beige and cotton.” Apparently this was code for, “Maybe we work on your wardrobe a bit.”

So I’ve been trying to kick it up a notch. With Stitch Fix, they help me pick out clothes to update my wardrobe and it also saves me time going to the store on Saturdays when I’d rather be drinking coffee and going to the Farmers Market.
